This is some of the interesting EXIF data for a photographer. It represents the owner of the camera, and most of the time is related with the photographer them self. Let me share what I know about this EXIF data. What I am about to show are only applicable only for CANON EOS. Other system may have other method of changing that data. I am using a Canon EOS 450D as an example of my tips.
What you will need :
1) Canon EOS camera
2) Canon Utility Installer(CD)
3) Computer
4) Camera Data Cable(USB)
Here it goes :
1) Make sure you have installed the Canon Utility software into the computer. Restart it after you are done.
2) Plug in your Canon EOS camera to the computer using the camera data cable via USB port.
3) You should see this screen appearing. Select the 3rd option - “Camera settings/Remote shooting”.

You would have noticed that “Battery low” warning at the bottom. Yes, my camera is running low on juice.
4) You should see this screen once you click on that option in step 3. There’s the “Battery low” warning again, but on the top. This software is really good, as it can detect my camera is battery low. Well, not that I didn’t noticed that when I turned on my camera.

EOS Screen 1
You should see 3 icons on the middle section. The one highlighted in red is the “Shooting Menu/Camera” icon. Next to it is a “Set-up menu/Tools” icon, and is the “Favorite/Star” icon.
Click on the 2nd “Set-up menu/Tools” icon.
What you do here is, click the 2nd icon or the middle icon.
5) You shall get this screen after you click on the “Set-up menu/Tools” icon. This is the important screen for today. You are looking at the place to change the Owner’s Name EXIF data.

EOS Screen 2
Now, just select it, and you shall see the last screen below

EOS Screen 3
6) Just update the Owner’s Name there, save and you are done for today. Make sure you properly remove your camera from the camera before you start making your photo.
Btw, this should actually be done before you take any photo, as it will be imprinted on the next shutter release. Hope this helps!
