What a trill day it was! Went to Masjid Jamek for the starting point. Got the shirt, cap, a bottle of mineral water, travelution mag and a few leaflet regarding the competition.

11 - Chan Sze Shu Yuen
12 - Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall
13 - Islamic Arts Museum
14 - National Mosque
15 - KTM Building
16 - Kuala Lumpur Railway Station
A total of 16 spots, scattered around 3 - 4 area around Kuala Lumpur. And we only have from 9 am till 2.30 pm. A total of 5 hours ++ for the shooting around these 16 heritage spots.
We started at Masjid Jamek and ends at Heritage Station Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
I planed to do something different this time around. Black & White was what I had in mind. I did not have B&W photos before, other than the one I did during last weeks “Canon Photo Marathon”.
So this was how my journey started and ended.
I started off from Masjid Jamek.

Earlier on, I notice the Jalan Masjid India on the map. Was thinking it was close by, so I went there. It was a street next to Masjid Jamek. Selling a lot of things. Just to confirm, I asked one of the seller there, where is Jalan Masjid India. He pointed me to the direction where I did past by earlier. I thanked him and I continue with my photo making journey.

Without spending more time on Jalan Masjid India, I hurried to the Masjid Jamek LRT Station. There I took the LRT to Pasar Seni LRT Station. Took some snapshot at Central Market, then moved on the Sze Ya Temple.

Figuring that I have less time to spend, I make another quick move to Petaling Street.

I missed Sri Maha Mariamman Temple and KuanTi Temple, which is quite nearby Petaling Street, as I moved on to Chan Sze Shu Yuen.

Soon, I move to the fountain just opposite the temple, and took some shots of Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall. From there I walked to KTM Station. A few more shots around National Mosque, KTM Building and Kuala Lumpur Railway Station. Need to rush around this area, as its already 3 pm by the time I was done. Finally, I moved to Heritage Station Hotel to pick the photo you have just seen to be uploaded. Quite a long queue of people. But I still manage to get my photo uploaded, printed, pasted and submitted for the contest.
I took tea break prepared by the hotel while waiting for the judges to judge all the photos by the participants. The result was announced around 7.30pm. And every one went home satisfied and happy. Throughout the whole event, I was acquainted a few other photogs, Wai Leong, Hanson and Hayashi.
Was tired and sunburned. Walked whole KL again, it was really a fun thing to do.
