Attended the talk on 30 May 2009, Saturday. At Berjaya Times Square, Canon Pro Centre.
The talk was done by Jeffry Lim.
Jeffry started off with a slideshow on himself at different places around the world. I kinda like the song he used for that particular slide. It’s the “What a Wonderful World”, but not sang by Louis Armstrong.
He mention a lot tips on do and don’t during before he venture out for his traveling trip. He also shares a lot of his amazing shots, he took for Petronas Trans EuroAsia Expedition 2008 as well as other places. More info about the adventure journey, click here.
Best tips from him was to have backup for everything ( cables, batteries, hard disk, etc…) and something about gifts (I remember him quoting his “New 1 Ringgit” gift when he go overseas).

He ended the 3 hours talk and slideshow presentation with a Q and A session. The first few who answered it got a book from him. I was not quick enough with a question to be able to get that book.
However, I was lucky to get a little souvenir from Jeffry Lim, via a lucky draw session between all of the people that attended the talk. A very memorable one too. Just what I would like to have into my book collection.
